Researcher at the Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR-University of Algarve) in the Project EEMA – Evaluation of the ecological status of the coastal and transitional water bodies and the ecological potential of the highly modified water bodies.

Graduate in Marine Biology with a MSc on Marine Biology, Fisheries and Aquaculture by the Faculty of Environment and Marine Sciences of the University of Algarve.

Current Research Interests:

- Ecology of estuarine ictiofauna;

- Coastal fauna and flora of Algarve;

- Geographic Information Systems and mapping;

- Artisanal fisheries management;

- Marine Protected Areas.
